Liddie L DeWitt
Liddie L. DeWitt, of Susquehanna, PA., left us on January 16, 2018.
Liddie was the daughter of Raymond and Cecil Bishop.
Liddie is survived by her brother, Albert Bishop; her children, Bonnie Pickering, Tammy Latwinski, David Pickering; and a large, extended family.
Funeral and committal services will be posted when weather permits and at the convenience of family.
Robert Klein, age 53, died Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at home. Born in Scranton on October 3, 1964, son of the late Robert F. and Yvonne A. (Ensminger) Klein. Robert graduated from Vestal High School, Broome Community College, Binghamton University and Widener University School of Law. His career included VP of Operations for Cherry Tree Vending, Co., Inc., Deputy District Attorney and Assistant District Attorney for Lackawanna County and Susquehanna County District Attorney.
In his younger years, he was an altar server. While in high school, he earned his brown belt from Hidy Ochiai's Karate and was a wide receiver on the Vestal High School football team. Robert enjoyed attending his children's high school football games and cheerleading competitions, guiding them with high school and college mock trials, working with his children on remodeling the family home and spending time talking with them about their day. He was a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Pennsylvania District Attorneys Association. Robert was also a lector for St. Martin of Tours, spent 12 years teaching students legal procedure through mock trials and volunteered for numerous causes. Robert was a man of faith and his greatest joy was his family.
In law school, Widener University selected Robert as the most promising litigator. The awards and recognition he received were many, but those that he considered very special included: The Florence-Midtown United Crime Watch "Night of Helping Hand"; Class Leader of the Year, presented by Leadership Lackawanna; Recognition for his Dedication to the Victims of Juvenile Crime; Recognition by the Drug and Alcohol Treatment Service for his Years of Hard Work and Dedicated Service to the Law Enforcement Field; and being elected the Susquehanna County District Attorney.
He is survived by his wife, Kelly-Jo (Callahan) son, Robert ("RJ") daughter, Olivia and son, Nicholas, all of New Milford; brother, John and wife Bonnie Lee of Susquehanna; nieces and nephews John Joseph of Susquehanna, Kirsten, Ryan and Alex Klein, all of Endwell, NY; Hunter, Abby and Emma Lewis, all of Apalachin, NY; mother- and father-in-law, Patricia and John Callahan; brother-in-law, Kevin Callahan; and sisters-in-law, Kimberly Mulvey, Julie Callahan and Jessica Lewis, all of New York State.
Robert was preceded in death by his brother, William J. Klein and his aunt, Shirley M. Ensminger.

Funeral services will begin Wednesday January 31, at 8:30 a.m. from the Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 125 N. Main Ave., Scranton, with a 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated by Msgr. Thomas Muldowney at St. Peter's Cathedral, 315 Wyoming Ave., in Scranton.
Burial will follow at the Cathedral Cemetery.

Mary Brancaccio
Mary Brancaccio, 77, of Thompson, PA passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 22, 2018 at the Regional Hospital of Scranton.
She was predeceased by her best friend, Patricia Treible. She will be sadly missed; she was everyone’s “Aunt Mary”. She had a huge family of nieces, nephews, great and great-great-nieces and nephews that loved her. She loved fishing, shopping and her 3 little dogs. She will be especially missed by her dearest, life-long friend, Betty Leinauer.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Regional Hospital of Scranton staff for such good care and also to Fresenius Kidney Care of Dunmore for being her second family.
A Celebration of Mary’s life will be held on a later date in the spring.

Paul Amos Frey
Paul Amos Frey, 75, of New Milford, PA was promoted to glory on January 24, 2018. He is survived by his wife of almost 55 years, Deb Frey.
He also leaves behind his beloved children, Dawn and Gene Kaercher, Bartlett, TN, Dean and Teresa Frey, Bloomsburg, PA, and Cathy and Matthew Smith, Cortland, NY; 11 grandchildren, Zach and Flora Frey, Alexis and Levi Lukonen, Miles Kaercher, Lydia and Johnny Fulks, Levi Frey, Haley Frey, Benjamin Kaercher, Joshua Smith, Jadon Kaercher, Chris Smith, and Alexander Smith; 5 great-grandchildren, Teylyr, Micayah, Malaki, Eliseo, and Lenya; three siblings, John and Floss Frey, Marty Redcay, and Jerry and Judy Frey; many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Paul was employed with Word of Life Fellowship for 32 years in Schroon Lake, NY. He was passionate in serving the Lord at home and in missions overseas. He loved to immerse himself in God’s Word, especially after his third trip to Israel in 2017. Paul enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening, and sharing the bounty with family and friends. Paul was a generous, loving, humble, Godly, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend.

Marjorie A. Eberly
Marjorie A. Eberly, 59, of Kingsley, PA entered into rest on December 21, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Lamar. Marj is also survived by two sons, Sean and Victoria Eberly and Chris Eberly; three grandchildren, Olivia, Miles, and Rhea; her parents, Luke and Mary Bomberger; one brother, Don and Judy Bomberger; three sisters, Sue and Bob Faron, Sandy and Mahlon Smoker, and JoAnn Philbin; father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Elsie Eberly; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Marj was devoted to her family and was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She was employed with Peoples National Bank for more than 24 years. Marj will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at the American Legion Post #357, Hallstead, PA on February 3, 2018. Guests may arrive between 12:30 and the beginning of the service. Friends may greet after the service.
