Rae E. Fiske, 71, of New Milford, PA went home to be with the Lord on Christmas Day, 2016.  She was reunited with her husband of almost 50 years, Elmer, who predeceased her in February, 2015.

Rae is survived by three children, Lisa Deyo, Melissa and Jeff Kelsey, Kevin and Shauna Fiske; ten grandchildren, Matthew, Brooke, Ashley, Cassandra, Heather, Kristopher, Ashley, Kyleigh, Ashton, Marissa; seven great-grandchildren, Aaron, Aiden, Eli, River, Nikki, Madelyn, Nolan; her mother, Ruth Matthews; brother, Russell and Paulette Matthews; in-laws, Emerson and Sandra Fiske, Leona Fiske, Gloria Canfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Rae was an active member of the New Milford United Methodist Church.  She started Operation Christmas Child in our area, served as choir director, formed the Cherub Choir and Teen Choir, was a choir member, played the organ and piano, and served in many other capacities.

Rae was a registered nurse, beginning her career with Lourdes Hospital.  She retired as the nursing supervisor at Barnes-Kasson Hospital. 

Rae loved her family and was a devoted care giver to her family and many friends. 

The family would like to extend their appreciation to Hospice of the Sacred Heart, especially Mary Pat Freitag, who worked with Rae at Barnes-Kasson Hospital.

A funeral service was held Friday, December 30, 2016.  Spring interment will be made in New Milford Cemetery.
