Dr. Christine Plonski Sezer founder/artistic director of the Endless Mountains Children’s Choir proudly announces that the children will be performing a holiday concert at the National Christmas Tree in Washington, D.C. on Thursday, December 15, 7 PM to 7:30PM.
The children will also be sharing holiday music at local nursing homes and hospitals. Their other performance dates as they are confirmed will be published so you will have an opportunity to enjoy their concerts.
The choir will be having fund raising events to raise money for their upcoming performance. The first will be an International Dinner on Saturday, November 5 at the South Gibson United Methodist Church (more details about that event will follow in a future article). The children will also be taking orders very soon for Christmas poinsettias during the month of November. This is one of their main fund raisers that the choir has done for the past 7years.
If you have a child that loves to sing, please encourage you child to join the Endless Mountains Children’s Choir. We are still looking for new members as many of our members have graduated and we are rebuilding the choir.
There is no tuition charge - the choir if free!! Imagine that – not having to pay to have your child taught how to sing properly by a highly qualified vocal/choral teacher with 50 years of experience with children’s voices and who actually conducted her own children’s choir (NJ chamber children’s choir) with The Vienna Boys Choir. How could you not give your child this unique experience? The choir is totally supported by donations and fund raisers.
Rehearsals are Thursday evening, 6:30PM to 8:00PM at the South Gibson United Methodist Church, South Gibson, PA.
If interested, please contact Dr. Sezer. Home (570) 756-2729; cell (570) 665-9890; or drcsezer@gmail.com
