Edward Gibser

Edward Gibser, 90, of Starrucca, Pa, born January 21, 1926, passed away peacefully at his daughters home in Apopka, FL on August 13, 2016. He was predeceased by his Parents, Edward and Mary Gibser, his brother, Vincent Gibser and his son, Richard Gibser. He is survived by his daughter, Susan Turnbeaugh; grandchildren, Jessica and Jacob Turnbeaugh; nephew, Fred Gibser and sisters-in-law, Jean Gibser and Frances Gibser. He had 22 wonderful years with his companion and best friend Marion Tyms. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Gerald Arthur Bills

Gerald Arthur Bills,83, of Turnpike Terrace Apartment, Susquehanna, Pa. passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at the Barnes Kasson Hospital in Susquehanna after an illness.

He was born in Oakland, Pa. on April 24, 1933 the son of the late Arthur R. and Mary E. (Collier) Bills.

Gerald is survived by brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Dawn E. Bills; nephew, Michael Bills and Sandi Davis; niece, Penny Lee Bills; great-nieces and great-nephews, Hannah, Shaun, Haley, and Megan Bills, several cousins.

He graduated from Oakland High School and worked for Arrow Spinning Mfg. Gerald then served in the United States Air Force for four years during the Korean Conflict. He returned home and worked at the Hallstead Foundry until it closed and then went to work at Benton Iron Foundry in Benton, Pa. until his retirement. He was a member of the American Legion Post #86 of Susquehanna. Gerald enjoyed railroad trains and spending holidays with his family.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 10th, 11am at the Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave., Susquehanna with Pastor Vincent Chiaramonte officiating.

Burial will be in the McKune Cemetery, Oakland, Pa.

In lieu of flower’s memorial contribution may be made to the Barnes Kasson Hospital SNF, 2872 Turnpike Street, Susquehanna, Pa. 18847.
