Eden

Eden is a exceptionally special dog who loves attention. She walks perfectly on a leash, is well mannered, playful, affectionate, and housebroken. Eden was found on the side of a busy road moments before giving birth. She was an especially devoted mother to her pups, but now its Eden's turn to be the one taken care of, loved, and pampered. A staff favorite and fondly nicknamed “Momma”, she is also up to date on her shots, micro-chipped, and spayed. She is such a beautiful, sweet girl, it's very hard not to love her!  We are still celebrating National Pit Bull Awareness Month and all our Pitties including Eden, are still 50% of their adoption fee until November 1st.  If you are looking for a loyal, super affectionate companion with a vibrant personality, don't be discouraged by their wrongful reputation, you may be missing out on the friend of a lifetime.

 Thank you so very much to everyone who played a part in our Open House, “Pittie Party” including local animal behaviorist, Corey Cohen, with a New Leash on Life”, Muncheez, everyone who contributed to our bake sale, all our wonderful volunteers and staff, and each of you who came out to support “Pittie Pride” and our shelter.  We had an amazing day, 5 of our animal friends walked out the door to new homes and our “Pit Crew” very much enjoyed being in the spotlight and all the extra attention!

 Fun Fact: Pit Bulls are often very athletic. A Pit Bull will motivate you to get daily exercise. They also tend to excel at dog sports including agility.  So start your own personal exercise program, Adopt a Pit!
