On Friday, March 2, monthly Eucharistic Adoration will begin after the 12:10 p.m. mass and will conclude with mass at 7:00 p.m. A prayer service with the Men of the Sacred Heart and benediction will follow the evening mass. Father Jerry Safko serves as Pastor of Holy Name of Mary Church, 278 South Main Street, Montrose.

The monthly Vesper Service will be held on Sunday, March 11 at 5:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, corner of Church and Chestnut Streets, Montrose. Duane Hinds will welcome the guests and Ann Stone will be the reader. The “Tunkhannock Dulcimers” will provide special music. The group is made up of 6-8 dulcimers, 2 guitars and on occasion, a hammered dulcimer and a recorder. The program will include “Nearer My God to Thee,” “Simple Gifts,” and “Amazing Grace.” Mary Ann DeWitt will serve as organist. A simple supper will be served in the Parish House. All are welcome to attend the ecumenical service.
