ROBERT E. ROBINSON

Robert E. Robinson, 93, of Susquehanna, PA, passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 26, 2011 at his home on Laurel St. Robert was born in Susquehanna, PA the son of the late Joseph T. and Emma C. Robinson. He was predeceased by his four brothers Walter, Willis, Joseph, and Donald Robinson; two sisters Ethel Robinson, and Dorothy Passetti.

Robert is survived by his loving wife of 68 years Corrine Lamm Robinson; two daughters Nancy Williams, and Sherry Robinson - Doane; two sons David and Gary Robinson; one brother Thomas Robinson; nine grandchildren, and four great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Robert was a veteran of the United States Army Air Force where he served during WWII and achieved the rank of 2nd Lieutenant of the B29 train command. He worked several years for the Erie railroad and then for the United States Postal Service until his retirement. Robert was a member of the Lanesboro Community Church, American Legion Post #86, and the Masonic Lodge. Also, he spent many years and held many leadership positions on the board of the Grand Evergreen Cemetery Association. Robert will be deeply missed by his loving family

A Funeral service was held on Saturday, May 28, at the Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA, with Rev. Carl Batzel officiating.

Burial was held in the Evergreen Cemetery, in Susquehanna, PA.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Robert’s name to the Barnes Kasson Hospital, in Susquehanna, PA.

CHERYL E. SEAMANS

Cheryl E. Seamans, 31, of New Milford, PA entered into rest on May 25, 2011. She was the beloved daughter of Hollis and Diane Stone Seamans.

Cheryl is also survived by three brothers, Mark Seamans, Andrew Seamans, and Frederick Seamans; one sister, Linda Riebenstein; a grandfather, Emerson Stone; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Cheryl was employed with The Depot Restaurant as a cook. She loved her cats and her dog, Lady.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00, Wednesday, June 1, 2011, at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Hallstead, PA. Friends may call from 2-3 p.m., prior to the service.

Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to your local Humane Society or ASPCA.
