Area Church Announces Evangelistic Services

Spring Evangelistic Services will be conducted at the Stateline Evangelical Wesleyan Church, located 1 mile north of Great Bend on Rt. 11, beginning on Friday, May 6 through May 15, each evening at 7:30 p.m. and 11 a.m. on Sundays.

The guest evangelist will be the Rev. Spencer Johnson of Ward, Arkansas. Rev. Johnson (pictured above) has been a veteran church leader and evangelist for many years, and is currently General Moderator Emeritus of the Bible Missionary Church Inc.

Services will feature nightly old-time revival preaching, gospel singing, and fellowship.

Eucharistic Adoration At Holy Name Of Mary

On Friday, May 6, monthly Eucharistic Adoration will begin after the 12:10 p.m. mass and will conclude with mass at 7:00 p.m. A prayer service with the Men of the Sacred Heart and Benediction will follow the evening Mass. Father Jerry Safko serves as Pastor of Holy Name of Mary Church, 278 South Main Street, Montrose.

Worship Service In Susquehanna

The National Day of Prayer will be observed in Susquehanna on Thursday, May 5 at 12:00 noon in front of the Susquehanna Depot Borough Building. Readings, a few songs, and prayer for all levels of government and society will be featured in this brief worship service, to which all are welcomed.
