LOUIS EDMOND GROOVER

Louis Edmond Groover, 66, of Susquehanna, PA, passed away at Barnes Kasson Hospital, Wednesday, October 14, 2009. He was predeceased by his wife, Judy.

Born December 4, 1942, He was the son of the late Edmond and Lois Groover of Susquehanna, PA. He is predeceased by his twin brother, Larry; his brother Richard; and a sister, Doris, all of Susquehanna, PA.

He is survived by his eldest son Robert; a daughter LuAnn and her twin brother Lewis; several grandchildren; three brothers, Thomas, Charles and Edmond, of Susquehanna; six sisters, Janet, Jean, Alice, Gloria, Sandra and Nancy; and many nieces and nephews.

He will be deeply missed by all. Memorial Services will be at a later date at the family’s convenience.

A Remembrance Dinner will be held at Bill’s Hilltop on October 24 at 2:00 p.m. Come join family and friends as they remember Louis in their time of sorrow.

RAYMOND (TINK) C. TREIBLE

Tink Treible, 80, of Susquehanna, PA passed away Sunday, October 11, 2009 at the Barnes Kasson Hospital in Susquehanna after fighting years of cancer.

He was predeceased by his parents Chester and Emma Treible.

Tink was survived by his loving wife of 32 years Joanne Botts Treible; son and daughter-in-law Ronald and Elaine Treible; one brother and sister-in-law Charles and Mary Treible; three sisters Elizabeth Frost, Joan Tross, and Arlene Rudick; two grandchildren Matt and James Treible; five step-children Linda and Sam Stone, Jeffery and Tina Davis, Randy Davis, Jerry and April Davis, and Lance and Vicki Davis; several nieces, nephews, cousins, step grandchildren, and step great grandchildren.

Tink drove tractor-trailer for many years plus he worked in the stone quarry. He served in the United States Navy and was a member of the American Legion Post 357.

Tink has requested to have no funeral services.

BRUCE E. KESTEN

Bruce E. Kesten, 52, of Harford, PA passed away, Sunday, October 11, 2009 at his home. Born May 8, 1957 in Scranton, PA, he was the son of the late Edward Kesten and Janice [Brainard] Estabrook.

He worked for B & S Quarries.

Survivors include his grandmother, Marjorie Peck Brainard of Harford, PA; sisters, Julie Kesten of Harford, PA, Sandy Zupanovich of Harford, PA; nieces, Kari & Brooke Zupanovich; brother-in-law, Robert Zupanovich of New Milford, PA; step brothers & step sisters.

Besides his parents he was predeceased by his step father, Ralph Estabrook; brother, Daniel P. Kesten; paternal grandparents, Phillip & Edna Kesten & maternal grandfather, Lewis Brainard

Services: Thursday at 11 a.m. at the First Congregational United Church Of Christ, Harford, PA 18823.

Visitation: Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. at the Bartron-Myer Funeral Home, Inc., Montrose, PA and 1 hour prior to the services at the church.

Instead of flowers: memorial contributions may be made to Harford Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 206, Harford, PA 18823 or to Asera Care Hospice, 749 Northern Boulevard, P.O. Box 210, Clarks Summit, PA 18411, in memory of Bruce.
