FREE MOVIE: St. Lawrence Church presents "Movie On The Green", at 380 Franklin Street, Great Bend. Friday, starts at dusk, with a rain date of Monday, August 6th. Bring the entire family and lawn chairs or blanket along with your snacks. Feature: Ferdinand The Bull, shown on a 22 ft. jumbo screen.
TRAIL DAY BBQ: Saturday, during the festivities in Forest City, Christ Church, located at the corner of Dundaff and Delaware Streets, will hold a Chicken BBQ dinner 3:00pm-6:00pm. Limited tickets available. To purchase, leave a call-back message at 570-785-3425 for Christ Church members or from various businesses throughout town.

BOOK SALE: Used Book Sale and Historical Exhibits, sponsored by Harford Historical Society. Saturday, 9am to 2pm, at Soldiers Orphan School, 2238 Orphan School Road, Kingsley. The books are donated and no buyer restrictions (cash only). See exhibits in building used as dormitory school for orphans of Civil War, from 1865 to 1902. No charge for viewing exhibits of local Harford area.
DINNER: Chicken-n-Biscuit or Ham Dinner at the Clifford United Methodist Church, Main Street, Wednesday, 4:00 - 6:00pm. Take out or dine with us for a donation, which includes dinner, drink and dessert.
DINNER: Wimpie etc. supper at Starrucca Baptist Church, social rooms. Serving begins at 5pm. Public welcome.
OPEN HOUSE: Pratt Memorial Library, 752 Main Street, New Milford, 5pm – 7pm. All are welcome. Book sale, games and crafts for the kids, free hot dogs.
CORN FEST/TRACTOR SHOW: At Windsor's Klummp Park, Saturday, 12 to 5pm. Children's games, crafts, contests, live music and more. Chicken dinner orders, call Craig Terrell at 607-222-5470. Join the Corn Hole Tournament and Duck Race for cash prizes. Duck Race at 4:30pm, advance tickets available at Acclaim Insurance Agency, Main Street. Endless Mountains Theatre Company presents Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat to the stage, August 2-5, in the Elk Lake High School auditorium.
EMTC will present the musical, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, August 2-5, in the Elk Lake High School auditorium, 2380 Elk Lake School Rd., Springville. Tickets are available at the door.
The family-friendly musical, with lyrics by Tim Rice and music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, is based on the Biblical story of Joseph's "coat of many colors" in the book of Genesis.
Narrators Kathryn Curry Dibble, Maddi Button and Angela Klawiter guide the story through songs. The production stars Ben Knox, as Joseph. Ian Robinson appears as Pharoah, and Sam Corey as Potiphar.
This EMTC production is being directed by Bob DeLuca. Heather Pearsall serves as the musical director.
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat hits the stage with performances Thursday-Saturday, August 2-4, at 7pm; and Sunday, August 5 at 3pm, and tickets are available at the door the day of the show.
