Albert was born in the Pennsylvania Borough of Susquehanna Depot, the son of the late Pasquale and Maria (Mastropietro) Stella.
He was pre-deceased by his brother, Louis of Endicott, NY, his brother, Mark Joseph of Susquehanna, PA, his sister, Virginia Znamirowski of Susquehanna, PA, and his brother, Angelo of Manassas, VA.
He is survived by his sister-in-law, Carolyn; several nephews, a niece, and many grand nephews and nieces.
Albert earned a degree in mathematics from Pennsylvania State University. Following college he served in the US Navy. His professional career was spent with the Flight Systems Division of Allied-Bendix. Albert was a writer and took pride in several works of fiction he authored. He had an entrepreneurial spirit and pursued many business interests. Albert was a member of MENSA and the Order of the Sons of Italy in America. Most of all, Albert enjoyed his family.
A private memorial service will be held in Susquehanna, PA, at the convenience of family.
She was born in Susquehanna on April 10, 1948 to the late H. Kendall and Helen Brush.
She graduated from Laurel Hill Academy and Misericordia University.
Carolyn is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Sarah Welch; five grandchildren, Margaret, Zachary, Andrew, Katherine, Cassandra.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered by Rev. Charles Connor on Saturday, July 28th, 10am at St. John's Church in Susquehanna, PA.
Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery in Susquehanna.
The family received friends on Friday, July 27th at Hennessey's Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave., Susquehanna.
She was born on March 28, 1923, to Grover C. and Ada Olive Mead Tyler Packer, and graduated from New Milford Consolidated High School in 1940. She also attended North High and Ridley's Business School in Binghamton before working as a secretary at the Sherwin-Williams Company. She married Lloyd C. Potter on May 16, 1944; he predeceased her on October 15, 2008.
Effie was president of the Kingsley Civic Club for two non-consecutive terms and held various positions in the United Methodist Church of Brooklyn, PA. She was well known for the rhubarb meringue pies she brought to the church's Memorial Day dinner for many years.
Effie sold real estate and was an interior decorating consultant for a few years but was primarily a homemaker and farmer's wife who helped manage and operate Echo Hollow Farm in Brooklyn Township, PA, where she and her husband raised registered Holstein cattle. She had many interests and accomplishments but was most proud of her five children.
In recent years, Effie took an interest in family genealogy and learned that some of her ancestors served in the Revolutionary War. She became a member of the Susquehanna County Chapter, National Society of Daughters of the American Revolution. Her great-great-grandfather, Edward Packer Sr., who came to Brooklyn Township from Connecticut in 1812, was a first cousin of Lehigh University founder Asa Packer.
She is survived by a sister, Mabel (Paul) Walls of Binghamton, NY, and five children, Eileen (James) Kopelman of New Kensington, PA, Lawrence (Judy) Potter of Ringgold, GA, Virginia (Elliot) Popper of Myrtle Beach, SC, Kathryn Maloney of Myrtle Beach, SC, Roselyn (Arvin) Hibbard of Dimock, PA. She is also survived by grandchildren, Bradley (Misty) Potter, Jessica Hibbard, Benjamin (Kristen) Hibbard, Shannon Maloney, Megan (Chris) Maloney Fontaine, Colleen (Kevin) Maloney Roberts, Jennifer Popper Meyers, Stephen (Georgia) Popper, David (Carla) Ramsey, Terran Ramsey Halapin; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Another sister, Evelyn (Roy) Gregory, predeceased her.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 18, 4pm at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, 25 Susquehanna Ave., Hallstead, PA.
Friends are invited to meet with the family beginning at 3pm.
Mimi is survived by three children, Sue Furney and companion, Wayne Frederici, Thomas Button and companion, Teri Gulick, Timothy and wife, Christina Button; four granddaughters, Amie, Sarah, Miranda, Mariana; two great-grandchildren, Anya and Dimitri; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was predeceased by a son, Jerry; sisters, Prudence and Ruth; brothers, Richard, Robert, Ronald; and a son-in-law, Frank Furney.
Mimi was self employed as a dairy farmer and well known as the Harford Township Tax Collector for more than 40 years. She was a member of Kingsley United Methodist Church and of the Old Mill Village. Mimi was a member of the Harford Agricultural Society, the Harford Grange, and PARSE.
The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff and doctors for the tender care she received while being a resident of Meadow View Senior Living Center.
A celebration of her life will take place at 11:00am at Old Mill Village Church on the Green, 49 Park Place, New Milford Borough, PA on Saturday, August 11, 2018.

Jim is also survived by his daughter, Bobbi and Chuck Castelli; two precious grandchildren, Abby and Charlie Castelli; a sister-in-law, Trudy Conigliaro and Carl Zukus; and two nephews, Peter Raymond and Nicholas and Danica Conigliaro.
Jim was a graduate of Blue Ridge High School in 1969. He served with the United States Marines during Vietnam. He was a skilled carpenter and small business owner. He was an avid reader, enjoyed hunting, fishing, horses, and being outdoors. Jim possessed a great sense of humor and the ability to make conversation with everyone.
A memorial service will take place at 11:00am, Saturday, August 4, 2018 at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Inc., Hallstead, PA.
Internment will be made in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call from 10-11 at the funeral home, prior to the service.
