Matthew Cameron On SUNY President's List

Matthew Cameron of Brackney, PA was recently named to the President's List at The State University of New York at Potsdam.

Cameron, whose major is Geology, was among 855 SUNY Potsdam students who were honored for academic excellence in the Spring, 2018 semester. College President Dr. Kristin G. Esterberg recognized the students for earning top marks.

To achieve the honor of being on the President's List, each student must have satisfactorily completed 12 numerically-graded semester hours, with a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

Meghan Gilhool On All-Conference List

Meghan Gilhool, of Montrose was among 66 Western New England University student athletes honored on Monday, June 11 as the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) announced its Spring Academic All-Conference Team.

In order to be recognized as a member of the Spring Academic All-Conference Team a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.3 (on a 4.0 scale) and must have also attained sophomore status.

Gilhool is working toward a degree in Health Sciences.

Rachel Hubal Graduates US

Rachel Hubal, of Thompson, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Health Science Degree from University of the Sciences and was recognized at a bachelor's degree conferment ceremony on Friday, May 18, 2018. Hubal continues on in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. She was a member of the women's rifle team.

Nicholas J. Jarrow Graduates JMU

Nicholas John Jarrow, of Nicholson graduated with a degree in Integrated Science & Technology from James Madison University during the May 4, 2018 commencement exercises.

Jarrow was among more than 4,400 students who received undergraduate, master's, educational specialist and doctoral degrees.

Rachel Mordovancey On CU Dean's List

Rachel Anne Mordovancey of Friendsville, has been named to the Dean's List at Clemson University for the spring, 2018 semester.

Mordovancey is majoring in General Engineering.

To be named to the Dean's List, a student achieved a grade-point average between 3.50 and 3.99 on a 4.0 scale.

Matthew Lewis, of Montrose graduated from Union College during the College's 224th, 2018 Commencement exercises.

Lewis received a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Managerial Economics.

Steve Shelp, Union Dale, PA, graduated from Bismarck State College with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Energy Management during the college's 78th commencement ceremony on May 11, 2018 at the Bismarck Event Center.
