LIONS CLUB DINNER: The South Creek Lions Club will be holding a Roast Beef & Ham Dinner on Saturday, March, 10th from 4:30 until 6:30pm at the Lions Hall located on Route 14 n Gillett, Pennsylvania. The menu includes "real" mashed potatoes, vegetables, baked beans, home baked bread & coleslaw. Pies and cake will be available for dessert. SPAGHETTI DINNER: The Knights of Columbus Council 356 of Great Bend will be holding a spaghetti and homemade meatball dinner on Saturday, Match 10 from 4pm-7pm. The event will be held at KOC Hall - 65 Kilrow St., Great Bend, PA. Meal includes: salad, bread, homemade dessert and beverage. Take outs available. Children 5 and under eat free.
MEDICARE SPEAKER: Blue Ridge Senior Center, located at 81 Elizabeth St, Great Bend, PA. Is having Hollie Levine speak at 11am on the new Medicare changes and new Medicare cards coming in April.

BENEFIT: A benefit will be held for Lewis Price, in order to raise money to help his family through a difficult time of recovery and hospital bills. There will be a dinner, raffle baskets, and a corn hole competition that will begin at 1pm and run till dark. FREE LUNCH: Christ Episcopal Church in Forest City is thrilled to continue their program of monthly Free Community Luncheons. PINTS FOR POLIO: Honesdale Rotary will be holding a fundraiser to help eradicate polio from the globe. The event takes place on Thursday, March 22 from 5pm-7:30pm at Irving Cliff Brewery, 2 Chapel St. Honesdale. Games, drinks, eats and many door prizes for a small entry fee. Adam Owens/Bold Gold will emcee.

SOUP SUPPER: The Lake Como & Shehawken United Methodist Churches will hold their annual Soup Supper at the Lake Como United Methodist Church, 377 Como Road, Lake Como, PA on Saturday, March 24 from 4:00 pm - 6:30 pm. Enjoy a variety of homemade soups, chili, salad, bread, and homemade pie for dessert. Take outs are available. Cost is a free will offering. All are invited. Proceeds benefit the Parsonage Committee.
EASTER BUNNY: The annual Easter Egg Hunt, sponsored by the Susquehanna Community Development Association Events Committee, will be held on Saturday, March 24th, 2018. The hunt starts at 11:00 AM and is being held at the Susquehanna Community Elementary School. "Eggbert the Easter Bunny" will be arriving by Fire Engine and will be ready to help all of the girls and boys find the egg-shaped treasures. AMBA PROGRAM: The South Creek Lions Club will be hosting the AMBA Blood Analysis Program on Saturday, April 7th from 6-10am. Call 1-800-234-8888 from 8:30am-5pm Monday thru Friday. Your personal physician’s authorization is required to have the Blood Test. The Lions Hall is located on Route 14 in Gillett.

COMMUNITY CHORUS: The Susquehanna Community Chorus will be performing this summer as part of Hometown Days. Our first practice will be on Monday, April 9 at 7:30 p.m. at St. John’s Hall in Susquehanna. Our concert will be on Sunday, July 22 at 3:00 p.m. at the Susquehanna Community High School Auditorium. This chorus is open to anyone who would like to sing. No prerequisites or auditions are required. At the first practice we will hand out music and a rehearsal schedule. Anyone wishing to participate, please contact Jeffrey Keyes, Brenda Tiffany, or come to the practice on April 9.
