Virginia Ann Towner

Virginia Towner, 74, of Homosassa, Florida, formerly of Susquehanna PA, entered into rest on August 20th, 2017 surrounded by her family. 

She was predeceased by her parents, Clement and Mary Napolitano; brother John Napolitano; daughter in law, Renee Towner. 

She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Gordon. Also surviving are her children, Theresa and Dale Ralston, Lisa and William Kuiper, Scott Towner, Loretta Henry and her special fur baby, Angel;  grandchildren, Tyler Fiske, Thomas Towner, Kelsey Ralston and fiancé Darin Ford, Dylan Henry; great grandchildren,  Ella Fiske, Roslyn Fiske, Scarlett Fiske, Dawson Ford; brothers, James and Trudy Napolitano, Louis and Elaine Napolitano; sisters, Judy and Willard Canfield, Nancy Napolitano; many nieces and nephews.

Virginia was retired from Bendix Allied in Sidney where she worked for 26 years.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff at Wilson Hospital, CCU and ICU units.

A Funeral Service was held on Thursday, August 24, 2017, at the Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave, Susquehanna, PA.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Kenneth Travis pf Susquehanna, PA

Kenneth Travis, Susquehanna PA, 70,  passed away at his home August 24, 2017. He was predeceased by his father, Richard Travis.

 He is survived by his loving wife, Mary and his children, Kenny (Denise) Travis, Carl (Kate) Travis, and Misty (Jeremy); 10 grandchildren Vanessa and Nathan Seldelnick, Jade and Gavin Travis, Brandon, Alea and Amaron Slater, Branne and Kayla Sheldon, and his namesake, James Kenneth Travis; great-grandson, Caleb; mother, Karen Murphy; brothers, Jiggs (Debbie) Travis, Joe (Bonnie) Travis, Rick Travis, Jay (Lori) Travis and Toby (Tonya) Travis.

He coached 5 & 6 grade basketball for 12 years. He was an avid NASCAR fan. He was always there to help anyone in need. Above all else, his love for his family kept him going strong.

A Memorial service was held on Saturday, August 26, 2017, at Joe and Bonnie Travis’s home, New Milford, PA.
