Glenn G. Whitney

Glenn G.  Whitney, 92, formerly of Great Bend, slipped into the arms of Jesus on July 31, 2017 in Webster, NY.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 65 years, Grace E. Whitney; also a brother, Robert and Ruth Whitney; sisters, Isabelle and Raymond Tingley, Margaret and Charles Gumaer, Dorothy and Alvin Stockholm; two brothers-in-law, Frederick and Olithia Wiseman and Walter Wiseman Jr.; and a sister-in-law, Frances and Ed Ulco.

Surviving are two sons and their spouses, Dennis (Louise) Whitney of Penfield, N.Y, and Ronald (Vicki) Whitney of Williston, Vt.; four grandsons, Greg, Jim, Ryan, Chris; seven great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Unadine Wiseman; and several nieces and nephews.

Glenn was an active member of the First Baptist Church, New Milford. Glenn owned a backhoe business and alongside his wife owned and operated a dairy farm for many years. Later in life they were the resident managers of the Colonial Brick Motel. Glenn moved to western New York to be close to the care and comfort of his family.

A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, August 12, 2017, at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Inc, Hallstead, PA.

Interment will be made in the New Milford Cemetery.

Friends may call Saturday, from 2-3PM, prior to the service.

Vincent Roccanova

Vincent Roccanova, 70, of Susquehanna, PA passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at the Barnes Kasson Hospital in Susquehanna.
A Funeral Service was held on Saturday, August 5, 2017, at the Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA with Rev. David Cramer officiating.
Interment will be in the St. John’s Cemetery, Susquehanna, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Vinnie’s name to the Susquehanna Fire Department, PO Box 175, Susquehanna, PA 18847.
