The family of Albert Patrillo would like to thank John Benson and the American Legion for paying tribute to Albert on the 50th Anniversary of his death in Vietnam on May 19,1967 and his burial on Memorial Day of that year. John Benson discovered that Albert was the only person from Susquehanna, PA that was killed in the Vietnam War and wrote a wonderful history of Albert’s growing up in Susquehanna and untimely death in Vietnam. John reached out to many people in the course of his research. Albert’s family brought his medals including, but not limited to, The Purple Heart and the Silver Star along with photos and memorabilia to be displayed at the Legion for their annual Memorial Day celebration. Thank you for keeping Albert’s memory alive.
Thanks In Memory of Albert Patrillo
