On April 5th of this year, many of us marked the one year anniversary of the passing of Rob Robinson, past owner of Rob’s Market here in Hallstead. He was a man who had an unmovable passion for Barb and his family, life-long friends, his extended “family” at the Store, and for his community at large. The world needed then, during his lifetime, more men like Rob Robinson; a reality that is still, I believe, even greater now. Though our lives are a little less bright because Rob is no longer here on Earth walking amongst us, he will forever have a special place in all our hearts, and every April 5th we will take a deep breath and whisper out a prayer in behalf of each one of us whoes heart he touched in so many ways.
