PATRICIA THATCHER
Patricia Thatcher, 55, of Great Bend, PA entered into eternal rest on December 21, 2015, following a courageous battle with scleroderma. She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Harold Thatcher.
Pat is also survived by her beloved son, Matt Thatcher and Melissa; granddaughters, McKenna and Kelbeigh; two sisters, Ann Sellito and Dan Corter and Susan and David Lee; father-in-law, Howard Thatcher; several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Bob and Carol Thatcher, John and Heidi Thatcher, Carolyn and Bruce Gould; and her “second mother”, Sally Carr; her best friend, Cathy Wilding; and Bev Tierney. She was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Marian Gathany, mother-in-law, Alberta Thatcher, grandmother, Madeline Fancher, and “second father”, Richard Tierney.
Pat was anxiously awaiting the arrival of Collin Richard, her first grandson in February. She looked forward to her daily visits with her Aunt Joan and neighbor, Marge. She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Pat was employed with SUNY Binghamton for 31 years. She was a member of the Great Bend/Hallstead Ambulance and served as the subscription drive manager. Pat was an avid gardener, enjoyed raising and working with her Labs, playing Pokeno, and riding her trike motocycle. She loved her family, her home, her community, and her life.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be made in St. Lawrence Cemetery. Charles Wesley Davis
Charles Wesley Davis of Thompson, Pennsylvania passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at his residence. Memorial services will be held at 1 P.M. on Monday at Thompson Baptist Church.
Charles was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on October 11, 1933 to William and Maud Davis. After graduation from high school, he joined the United States Army. He served in the 101st Airborne as a communications specialist. After his service with the Army, he married Betty Alshouse in June 1956. Together they became the proud parents of five children.
Mr. Davis will always be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, uncle and friend to all those who knew him. He loved the Lord Jesus Christ and was a faithful church organist and Sunday School teacher for many years. He also served as a deacon in the church for over 40 years.
Charles is survived by his children Bruce Davis, Glenn Davis, Nancy Muckenfuss, Susan Wilson and Brian Davis as well as 14 grandchildren 1 great-grandchild with 2 more on the way. He will be missed but always remembered.
James B. Gorton
Jim Gorton, 69, of Susquehanna, PA, passed away peacefully Monday, December 21, 2015 after an illness at his home, because he didn’t want to stick around for winter.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Vivian (Vail) Gorton; 2 wonderful and helpful children, Brian (Tracey) Gorton and Tina (Scott) VonWeinstein; 3 grandchildren; Megan Gorton, Carli and Alex VonWeinstein who were the light of his life; and 2 brothers, Bill (Marilyn) Gorton and Walt (Carol) Gorton.
Jim enjoyed hunting, fishing and just taking walks in the woods. He saw several bears, many of which he has took pictures of. He liked animals better than people.
He always said, “If no one could visit me when I was alive why bother when I am dead.” So there will be no funeral services on his behalf.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Sacred Heart, or the Alzheimer’s Association.

CLAIR H. HALL
Clair H. Hall, 76, of Harpursville, NY was called home to be with the Lord on December 27, 2015. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Carol.
Clair is also survived by a daughter, Janette and John Kemmerer; a grandson, Luke Kemmerer; siblings, Carolyn Adolfson, Connie Bush, Roger and Nancy Hall, Robyn Hall; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Jane and a brother-in-law, Paul Bush both in 2015.
Clair enjoyed bowling, golfing, and gardening. He was an active member of the Maple Ridge Cemetery Association and a NY Yankees and NY Giants fan. Clair attended Brushville Baptist Church and faithfully lived out his faith.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of Binghamton General Hospital for their exceptional care.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 31, 2015 at the Brushville Baptist Church. Interment will be made in Maple Ridge Cemetery. Kathleen Christine LeStrange Of Annapolis, MD
Kathleen LeStrange, 94, former resident of Susquehanna, PA, passed away quietly on Thursday, December 24, 2015 at Heritage Harbor Rehabilitation Center in Annapolis, MD. Kathleen had moved to Annapolis in June 1997 with her sister the late Marguerite Murphy to reside with her son Joseph LeStrange and his family. She is survived by her son Joseph LeStrange (Linda) of Annapolis Md. , nephew Thomas LeStrange (Pauline) of Conklin NY., granddaughters Amanda Shope(Drew) of Annapolis Md., Andrea LeStrange of Washington DC., great niece Kelly Jones(Eric) of Westover NY., great nephew Patrick LeStrange(Hjun-Ji) of Falls Church Va., and great grandchildren Grace and Conner Shope.
Kathleen was a graduate of Laurel Hill Academy class of 1939 and Ridley & Lowell Business School class of 1940 she was employed by Bell Telephone Co. and the Banner Market in Susquehanna until her retirement in 1994. She was very active in the Susquehanna community and St. John Church. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, The Altar Rosary Society, and Democratic Party of Susquehanna Country.
After her retirement she spent time at The Village of the Four Seasons with her granddaughters during the summer, participating in athletics and social activities.
She will be greatly missed by her family and the communities of Susquehanna and Annapolis, Md. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 31st at 10:00a.m. by the Rev. David Cramer at St. John Roman Catholic Church, Susquehanna, PA. The family will receive friends at the Hennessey Funeral Home 747 Jackson Avenue. Susquehanna, PA. on Wednesday from 6:00pm to 8:30pm.
