Amy Black of Hop Bottom was among The University of Scranton students inducted into Alpha Sigma Lambda, the national honor society for part-time and full-time adult students. For induction into the honor society, students must rank in the upper 10 percent of the class, have completed 24 credits in an undergraduate degree program, and have a grade point average of 3.2 or higher. The University's chapter of the honor society was established in 1969.
Black is a junior in the College of Arts and Sciences at the Jesuit University.
Autumn Carpenter-Hiller, of Montrose, graduated from Paul Smith's College in May 2015.
Autumn earned a Bachelor of Science degree in integrative studies from Paul Smith's, which is located in the Adirondack Park of New York state.
The University of Scranton conferred more than 930 bachelor’s and associate degrees at its undergraduate commencement on May 31 at the Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza in Wilkes-Barre. Scott R. Pilarz, S.J., the 24th president of The University of Scranton and current president of Georgetown Prep in Washington, D.C., served as the principal speaker.

More than 1,700 students have been named to the Spring 2015 Dean's List at Kutztown University. To be eligible for Dean's List, an undergraduate student must be registered for at least 12 credits and have a minimum grade point average of 3.60.

Michael Wakalowski of Harford, Pa., joined more than 600 Lebanon Valley College students named to the Dean's List for the spring semester. Dean's list students must maintain a GPA of at least 3.4 out of 4.0.
Wakalowski, a graduate of Mountain View High School, is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.
