Very affable and easy going, Joe was widely known for his salty humor and colorful personality, his gruff exterior a thin veil for the kind and generous man he truly was.  He will be greatly missed by his many friends and loved ones.

Joseph is survived by his loving wife, Leona; his six children, Joseph Jr., James and Patricia, Kathy, Edward and Elizabeth, Thomas, and Matthew and Kate; step children, Ken Florance and Cindy Hall; grandchildren, Tara, Andrew, Jessica, Cody, Gage, Kyla, Arleen, Cassidy, Michael, and Jeff; several great grandchildren; three brothers, James, Edward, and Bernard; five sisters, Elizabeth, Dorothea, Mary, Donna & Joe Greco, and Margaret; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Joe was predeceased by his first wife, Arleen, his parents, Joseph and Dorothy Taylor, and his brother, Howard Taylor.

A funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Inc., Hallstead, PA.  Interment will be made in New Milford Cemetery, New Milford, PA.  In Joe’s memory, please consider donating blood to your local Red Cross.
