The Susquehanna County Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution presented Miss Katherine O’Neill a scholarship award for outstanding scholastic achievement at the Forest City High School Awards Night on June 11, 2014.

The high school seniors were all splendidly dressed in tuxedos and formal gowns, and seated on the stage for the awards ceremony. 

Shannon Elbrecht has been named to the spring 2014 Dean's List at University of the Sciences. Selection for this award is based on completing and passing all assigned courses with no grade below a "C" and attaining an academic average of at least 3.4 for courses taken in the spring of 2014.

Elbrecht of Hallstead, PA, is a doctor of physical therapy student.

Grace Ross, a student at Wyoming Seminary College Preparatory School in Kingston, Pa., has been named to the Dean’s List for the spring 2013-14 academic term, announced Jay Harvey, dean of the Upper School.

Ross, a rising sophomore, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Ross of Union Dale.
