Air Force Airman Theodore J. Loomis graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Loomis is the son of Nancy A. and Theodore J. Loomis of Hallstead.

He is a 2013 graduate of Blue Ridge School District, New Milford.

Cadet Kenneth Asher Seamans, son of Hon. and Mrs. Kenneth Seamans of New Milford, PA, graduated from the U.S. Military Academy on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 .

Seamans graduated from Blue Ridge High School in 2010. While at West Point, he concentrated his studies in American Politics. He was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army within the Infantry branch and will report to Fort Drum, New York for his first assignment.
