Flowers “Q.E.C.”
Submitted by Gladys Bennett
The Garden Club of Montrose invites you to its next meeting on Wednesday, June 11, 2014. The meeting will start at 4:00 p.m. and be followed by an informal program by the club’s two Flower Show Judges. The meeting place is at the home of Gladys Bennett, 593 Chenango Street, Montrose.
The title “Q.E.C.” means Quick, Easy, Cheap, the least stressful way to start flower arranging. It’s also the best way to keep arranging. We’ll learn to look at what’s available in our own yards and gardens and to use it for an easy design. The designs shown will not be extravagant or expensive – just simple and pleasing to enjoy at home.
The Garden Club of Montrose welcomes guests to learn of our involvement in community beautification and education and to meet new friends. If you have questions, please feel free to call President Ann Vitale at 570-278-3184 or Gladys Bennett at 570-278-3106.
