VIVIAN S. KASTERVECKAS

Vivian S. Kasterveckas, 87, of New Milford, PA went to be with her Lord on May 19, 2014.  She was predeceased by her first husband, Hilton B. Stonier in 1992 and her second husband, Albert Kasterveckas in 2001. 

Vivian is survived by seven children, Robert Stonier, M. Richard Stonier, Barbara McKetta, Ronald and Becky Stonier, Katharine and Steven LaMountain, Beverly and Thomas Murphy, and Roger and Lesley Stonier; fourteen grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. 

Vivian was anxiously awaiting the birth of her sixth great grandchild.  In the 1950s, she and Hilton, owned and operated the Stonier’s Furniture Store in New Milford, PA.  Later, she was employed with the Blue Ridge School District for twenty-five years.  Vivian was an active member of the First Methodist Church, New Milford, serving as a Sunday school teacher and was church treasurer for many years.  She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Worthy Matron twice.  Vivian had a passion playing the piano and music. 

A funeral service was held Saturday, May 24, 2014 at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Inc., Hallstead, PA.  Interment will be in New Milford Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 436, New Milford, PA 18834.

JAMES "JIMMER" FLOYD KERR

James F. Kerr, 52, of New Milford, PA went home to be with the Lord on May 23, 2014.  He was the son of James J. and Karen “Boo” Kerr.  He was predeceased by his father in 1985. 

Jimmer is survived by his brother, Mike Kerr; aunts and an uncle, Sal Geda, Diane Cavender, Thomas Stearns, and Aud Kerr; and several nieces and nephews. 

Jimmer was a member of the Masonic Bluestone Lodge, Hallstead, PA.  He was most recently employed at SRWR and a truck driver for 36 years.  Jimmer trucked all over the country.

The family will receive friends at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Inc., Hallstead, PA on Thursday, May 29, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  The Masonic service will be at 6:45 p.m. Thursday. 

Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to the Lupus Foundation, 1115 Upper Front Street, Binghamton, NY 13905.
