We must defund and repeal ObamaCare before it’s too late! The House of Representative will be voting on two important bills that give us a chance to strike at the core of this monstrous law.
The President wants to protect Big Business by delaying the mandate in ObamaCare that says most employers must provide health insurance. But he wants the individual mandate to stay in place! No American should be forced to have government mandated health insurance.
Congress will be voting on two important bills this week to delay both mandates. Please send members of Congress the message that you want them to support these bills.
Winning these votes is the first step in toppling this monstrous law before it destroys our freedom. More votes will follow, including defunding the IRS and its 46 enforcement powers over Obamacare.
It is extremely important that you let your Congressman know your opinion now so we can restart the momentum for repeal of ObamaCare! Please, take a minute to call or write your representative.
Sincerely,

America used to pay as much as $11 dollars for a cubic meter of natural gas. As a country we have seen a dramatic decrease in the cost; as much as a nine dollar a cubic meter savings to everyone. I would say that that savings is passed onto the greatest number of people, for the greatest good.
Now is the time for all of us who are saving money on reduced cost of compressed natural gas ( that should be all of you) to write to the Delaware River Basin Commission and demand them to release the acreages held hostage by them in the moratorium.
Economically everyone benefits from this. No one tells the DRBC that they can't make money or hold their prosperity as hostage.
They want it both ways, cheap gas and clean water and dictate as to who can prosper. Either release the landowners so they can make money on their gas or pay them out of your pocket. Our country should not be held hostage by a handful of consumers who claim to be so concerned, without regard.
Sincerely.

There’s an old saying, “Ignorance is bliss.” That may be true, but ignorance is also dangerous if we allow people like Steven VanEck to prey on that ignorance, as he did in his letter to the editor column in the June 26th issue of The Transcript. In it Mr. Van Eck, offered what he described as the “last word” on the subject of homosexuality. But only true knowledge dispels ignorance, and we got none of that in Mr. VanEck’s letter. In fact, we got just the opposite.
Sorry, Mr. Van Eck I’m not giving you the last word. Not this time.
In what Mr. VanEck describes as “the real world” people decide for themselves, as humans, what is right or wrong moral behavior, while at the same time he rejects and condemns Biblical morals, on the basis that the are “a human product.” Talk about convoluted logic. For centuries we’ve placed our trust in those men who the Bible describes as being moved by God to write His inspired word. Today we are placing our trust in men alone. But, like Mr. VanEck they give no real moral standards other than “do your own thing,” or “if it feels good – do it.” Clearly he believes that in this chaotic new world the morals that sustained this nation from its founding have become obsolete and unnecessary and must be simply discarded. Politicians call it “the will of the people.” This means that, for example, enough people can be convinced that pedophilia is acceptable – then that is a natural product of our cultural evolution. But, I suspect that he knows that our slide into immorality won’t stop there. Morally we’ve sunk very low, but potentially we’re nowhere near that bottom.
We must also be very leery when a person who openly rejects the Bible, quotes the Bible to make a point; it is always distorted or taken out of context. Always. This is no more true than in his June 26th letter where he quoted (I Samuel 20:41) where King Saul’s son Jonathan told his dear friend David that the king had condemned David to death. This is what Mr. VanEck wrote about that encounter “they kissed until David exceeded” implying that they were making homosexual love and leaving the reader to discern the meaning of the word “exceeded.” Hoping, I suspect, that people would interpret it in sexual terms. Now, let me tell you what that verse really says – and means. “They kissed one another, and wept one with another, until David exceeded.” This clearly implies that they kissed each other on the cheek in greeting as men still do today in the middle east. The word exceeded comes from the Hebrew word “Gadal” which means David was more distressed than Jonathan. That same word, translated from Hebrew, was used in I Kings 10:23, “…King Soloman exceeded all the kings of the earth for riches and wisdom.”
Mr. VanEck’s attempt to twist this simple Bible verse to serve his agenda proves to me one thing. He wants to project his own sense of self-righteous superiority over what he sees as the ignorant masses. That’s me and you folks. Don’t be ignorant. To understand why all this distoration of the word, please read Romans 1:21, 22. If you really want to know what the Bible says about homosexuality, and where it will lead us, continue reading through verse 32).
Also, in Mr. VanEck’s letter, he suggested that we look at the subject of homosexuality from a real world perspective. Well yes, let’s do that. Let’s look at the real world. According to the evolutionary theory, which I’m sure is where Mr. VanEck places much of his faith, we are simply a higher form of animal. As a life long student, and recognized expert in animal behavior, I discovered that despite the often bizarre mating rituals of animals, the end result always leads to reproduction. Always. In nature, animals never have sexual intercourse with other animals of the same gender. Never. Even nature shows us that homosexuality is abnormal and wrong. I hope that Mr. VanEck will heed a verse from his own real world bible. “Never fool with mother nature.”

Are men becoming womenized? Judging by several physical parameters, yes. And women are filling the power vacuum left by emasculated men. The changes are revolutionary in the language, in the military, in the workplace, in politics, and in the whole of society.
The question is: Are these changes for better or for worse? While one is quick to side one way or the other, the fact is no one really knows. The societal upheaval is without parallel in the entirety of human history.
For a baby boy, the assault on testosterone begins shortly after birth with a soy-based formula. Soy is a potent mimic of the female hormone, estrogen. It is estimated that infants fed soy have 13,000 times to 22,000 times the amount of estrogen in their bodies compared with infants on a non-soy diet.
While the effect of estrogen overload on male infants is not directly known, it can be inferred from animals given soy feed.
Rabbits given soy caused a near collapse in reproduction. Not only did their birthrate decline dramatically, but their offspring were asexual. The same effect was noted in fowl, zoo animals, and pet dogs and cats.
Boys and men are surrounded by dozens of estrogen mimics (EM). For example, EMs are used extensively in food production: fertilizers, herbicides, insecticides, and pesticides. These chemicals are found in high concentrations in water that runs off farmland and into rivers. We would, therefore, expect to find sexual abnormalities in aquatic life---and we do.
Some fish, amphibians, and turtles, have become hermaphroditic, having both male and female reproductive organs. Also observed was the demasculinization and feminization in freshwater males accompanied by atypical sexual behavior. Presumably, this occurs in men as well as animals and there is evidence to suggest that this is happening.
The sperm count in men has decreased from 100,000 sperm per ml in the early 1960s to 20,000 to 50,000 sperm per ml. Dr. Doris Rapp's research has shown that by 2045 only 21 percent of men in the world will be even marginally fertile.
Viagra, a drug used to treat a weak libido in men, has annual sales of almost $2 billion, about the same amount spent for testosterone augmentation.
Gynaecomastia, the development of active breast tissue in men, once rare, is now described as “a very common disorder.” In extreme cases, mastectomies are necessary.
And the hard, wiry physiques of young men in the1950s are now more likely to be soft and pudgy.
There have always been influential women: queens, aristocrats, heiresses. Egypt had a female pharaoh and China a woman emperor. But this is the first time in history that women possess real political clout and they are changing everything.
English has been progressively purged of maleness. There are scores of examples: mankind to humankind, foreman to foreperson, fireman to firefighter, policeman to police, chairman to chair, mailman to letter carrier, and so it goes. And woe betide the TV anchor (not anchorman) who uses the male pronoun.
The latest redactions are father and mother to parent; and husband and wife to spouse.
The military academies have been revamped to accommodate women and the day is not far off when they will be in combat units.
The workplace, once an arena of bawdy humor and bare-knuckle competition has been tamed by sexual harassment laws, sensitivity seminars, and affirmative action for females.
In politics, women senators and representatives are common. The Zimmerman trial boasts an all-women jury and a woman judge as well.
While many see these changes as enlightening others look at what is fading to black.
Men are the natural leaders and protectors. They are the risk takers, the innovators, the builders of industry, the doers, the history makers. They are born competitors, testing each other to see who can run the fastest, jump the highest, climb the highest mountain, explore the farthest reaches of land and ocean.
On the other hand, women are the child bearers and nurturers. They prefer cooperation to competition, security to risk, safety to danger, comfort to sacrifice. They see political correctness as a means of avoiding discord. The nanny state is their creation. They view it as protective and caring.
We are in the midst of a great societal experiment that blurs the genetic distinctions between men and women. But beware, Mother Nature doesn't like to be tinkered with. She doesn't take kindly to having her handiwork distorted by either gender-bending EMs or trendy social conventions.
Sincerely,
Bob Scroggins
