Edgar Lee Harden, 77, of Great Bend, PA went home to be with the Lord on June 8, 2013. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Community Church, Great Bend, PA.

David E. Potter
David E. Potter, 78, of Thompson, Pa. passed away Monday July 8, 2013 at the Barnes Kasson Hospital in Susquehanna, Pa. after an illness.
He was born the son of the late Harry & Ruth (Tobey) Potter. He was predeceased by his brother & sister-in-law Joseph &Eudora Potter; sister Evelyn Potter; brother-in-law James Cline; sister-in-law Patricia Potter; two nephews Harry R. Potter and Roger D. Potter.
David is survived by brother Gerald Potter; sister Joyce Cline; four nephews Ted Huntley; Tad Cline; John Potter; Kevin Potter; five nieces Marcia Edel; Sharon Comparetta; Brenda Tiffany; Lisa Stelmeck; Charlise Albert; several great and great great nieces and nephews.
David own and operated Potter dairy farm in Thompson Township before his retirement. He was a member of the Starrucca Baptist Church of Starrucca, Pa. He loved his family and will be great missed by his family and friends.
A funeral service was held on July 12th at the Hennessey’s Funeral Home 747 Jackson Ave Susquehanna, Pa with Pastor Albert Rodriquez officiating.
Burial will be in the Thompson Cemetery in Thompson, Pa.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Starrucca Baptist Church or Thompson United Methodist Church.
Alice Mary Roe
Alice Mary Roe, 85, of Brushville Rd., Susquehanna, PA, passed away on Monday, July 8, 2013, at the Kindred Hospital in Wilkes Barre, PA, after an illness.
She was predeceased by her husband Karr Roe, and two sons Roger and Robert Roe.
Alice is survived by one son Ronald and Paula Roe, three daughters Jeane Roe and Russ Conklin, Janet Roe, JoAnn and Tim Palmatier, a daughter-in-law; Bonnie Roe, sister Mildred Wood, sister-in-law Leatha Roe, 7 grandchildren, three great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Alice was the tax collector for Oakland Township for many years, was a tax preparer; and worked as a bookkeeper for TJ Autos. She also worked with her husband on the Roe Farm in Oakland Township. She loved to travel, crochet and an was an avid photographer.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at 10:00 am at the Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave., Susquehanna, PA.
Burial will be in the Newman Cemetery, Great Bend, PA.

George E. Suchnick
George E. Suchnick,89, of Westfall Ave. Oakland, Pa. passed away Tuesday July 9, 2013 at home after an illness.
He was born in Oakland, Pa. the son of the late George T. & Mary (Roberts) Suchnick. He was predeceased by his wife Bernice (Kishbaugh) Suchnick; two brothers David Suchnick , John Suchnick; five sisters Rachael Palmer, Mary Grace Donavon, Rose Marie Soudas, Celia McGrath and Lorynne Coon.
George is survived by two daughters Kay Buffington and Georgia Suchnick; two sisters Linda & John Whited and Joan & Dr. Richard Falls; four grandchildren Adam Buffington, Aimee Wademan, Nichols DeAnglis and Shelia Poppo; three great grandchildren Chloe DeAnglis, Owen Poppo and Brock Poppo; several nieces and nephews.
George retired from the Conrail Railroad as an engineer after 46 years of service. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving during World War II. He was a member of the American Legion, Masonic Lodge and Odd Fellows Lodge. George was a loving father and grandfather and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in the McKune Cemetery in Oakland, Pa.
