The Susquehanna County Career & Technology Center recently held several events to raise funds for the Boy Scouts of America. With the outstanding support of both the community and school district employees, the SCCTC was able to raise $1,141.00 to enable eligible scouts to attend camp for the summer.

The Cosmetology Department held several day and evening events including elementary “Blue & White Outs” and numerous clinics. Cinnamon bun orders were taken by Food Management and proceeds were donated as well. The staff of the SCCTC participated in a “Dress Down Day” where employees could pay to dress down for the day.

According to Dr. Alice M. Davis, SCCTC Administrative Director, “It gives us great pleasure to help with such amazing programs. The community has been supportive of the SCCTC and we are pleased to be able to give back.”
