Robert C. Canfield passed away May 30, 2012 at home. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Dorothy; his sons, John Canfield, Wayne and Tina Storr, William and Annette Storr, Richard Storr and Liz Guzy; his daughter, Virginia and Richard Pease; eight grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter, Vicki Canfield. Robert was born in Leraysville, PA, son of Leon and Agnes Canfield.

Bob served on several ships during World War II in the Pacific theater and on a carrier during the Korean War. He was a 27 year member of the American Legion Post 357. He formerly owned the Warren Hotel in Tunkhannock, PA and Just Country Antiques in Lenox, PA.

A funeral service was held Saturday, June 2, 2012 at the Peter P. Savage Funeral Home, 932 Main Street, New Milford, PA, at 1:00 p.m. Following the funeral service there was a full military service held at the New Milford Cemetary.
