Conference Upcoming At Great Bend Alliance

The Great Bend Alliance Church, located at 160 Randolph Street in Great Bend, will host an International Workers Conference on Thursday, September 29 through Sunday, October 2. The featured speaker will be Mark Ceria, who is serving in Krasnodar, Russia. The Christian & Missionary Alliance has been ministering in Russia since 1993. The ministry objective is to partner with three national church groups to establish communities of faith. Come and learn more about this fascinating ministry in Russia.

On Thursday, September 29, there will be an international dinner at 5:30 p.m. and Jeff will be speaking after the meal. On Friday, September 30 there will be a bonfire with hot dogs and smores at 6:30 p.m. At 7:30 p.m. there will be a bonfire song fest with Jeff answering questions about Russia. On Saturday, October 1 there will be a men’s breakfast; at 1:00 p.m. there will be a madhatters ladies’ tea; at 4:00 p.m. there will be bowling for the children and youth. On Sunday, October 2 at 9:00 a.m. Jeff will speak to the youth and adult Sunday school classes.

Jeff will present the final missions challenge at 11:00 a.m. At noon there will be an appreciation dinner.

Open House At First Baptist Church

An open house will be held on Saturday, September 24, at the First Baptist Church, 695 Jackson Avenue, Susquehanna, from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. to welcome Pastor Gary Day, his wife Susan and their daughters Kayla Marie, Emily Michelle, Abigail Christine, Hannah Lynn, Rachel Madison and Sarah Grace, to the church family and the community. The public is cordially invited to come to welcome and meet the Day family.
