Pickett Announces August Office Hours TOWANDA - In an effort to make the services provided by Rep. Tina Pickett’s (R-Bradford/Sullivan/Susquehanna) district office more convenient to residents of Susquehanna and Sullivan counties, she has established satellite office hours for Wednesdays in August. In Susquehanna County, staff will be available on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month - Aug. 10 and Aug. 24, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. The office is located on State Route 706 at Flynn’s Consignment Shop in Lawton. The site was formerly Cavallaro’s grocery store. Sullivan County residents can visit Pickett’s satellite office at the Sullivan County Courthouse in Laporte on the third Wednesday, Aug. 17, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. “Both of these offices can help residents with a variety of state government-related services, such as driver’s license assistance, PACE and PACENET applications, or to check on the status of Property Tax/Rent Rebate forms,” Pickett said. Open House At BR Senior Center The Blue Ridge Senior Center in Great Bend will hold an open house on Friday, August 12 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the center.
