Cookie & Garage Sale At Thompson UMC

Spring cleaning has benefited the Attic Treasures sale at the Thompson United Methodist Church. The garage is overflowing with treasures donated for the semiannual garage sale.

The garage sale and “Fill the Can with Cookies” sale will be held in conjunction with Thompson Town Days on Saturday, June 4. Doors will open at 10:00 a.m.

Cookies are all baked by church members and as always, a wide variety will be available for your pleasure. In addition, tickets will be sold to take a chance on a beautiful handmade quilt. Proceeds will benefit the Starrucca Bag Ladies, a group of dedicated women that make Ugly Quilts (sleeping bags) for homeless persons.

The Sunday school children will also have several gift baskets to raffle. Proceeds from this raffle will help to provide financial assistance for summer camp and other planned activities.
