PHILIP J. WAGNER Philip J. Wagner, 63, of Brushville Road, Susquehanna, PA, passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2011, at his home after an illness. Philip was predeceased by his mother Elizabeth (Kelly) Wagner; and his sister Janet Waldron. He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years Kathy (Neblo) Wagner; one brother Paul Reynolds; one sister Marion Leonard; and many nieces, nephews and cousin. Philip was a veteran of the United States Army where he served during the Vietnam War from 1971 to 1974. He then went on to be an animal control officer in West Orange, NJ, and then a Police Officer in Montclair, NJ, for 20 years until his retirement. Philip had a love of all animals especially his two dogs Penny and Dusty, and his six cats. He was also a member of the NRA and an avid gun collector. Philip will be deeply missed by all his friends and family. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 22, 2011, at the Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA. THOMAS ZIBA COKELY Thomas Ziba Cokely was born May 13, 1951 in Hudson, N.Y. the son of Carl Leon and Evelyn Ruth (Greene) Cokely. He passed away at his Mancos, Colo. home on Monday, January 17, 2011 at the age of 59. Thomas entered the U.S. Army on January 31, 1970, serving in Vietnam. On July 7, 2008, Thomas married Linda Lee Pesteridge in Winchester, Virginia. Surviving Thomas are his wife, Linda Cokely of Mancos, Colo.; his children, Thomas A. Cokely and his companion, Roxanne Richardson of Johnson City, N.Y., Tawnya Grick and husband, Jeremy of Lawton, Penn., and Lindsay Strohl and husband, Michael of Montrose, Penn.; by a stepson, James Edward Rippeon II of Easton, Penn; by five grandchildren; and by three brothers, Dennis Cokely of Guinness, N.Y., Jerry Linfoot and Dick Linfoot. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; and by one brother, Kendall Cokely. Cremation has taken place and services will be held at a later date.
