ANNA E. STILES

Anna E. Stiles, 88, of Great Bend, PA passed away on September 10, 2010 in Lourdes Hospital. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, C. Fred Stiles.

Also surviving are her children, Ronald and Lynn Stiles and Jim and Karen Stiles; grandchildren, Michelle and Rob Montague, David Stiles, and Kate Stiles; a sister, Rita Lacey; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was predeceased by her parents, Fred and Pearl Dean; a brother, Leo Dean; a sister, Catherine; and a son Robert.

She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Anna was employed by the Holiday Inn Arena as a bookkeeper.

She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, always ready with a smile and eager to help. She also loved her garden full of flowers and vegetables, which she also lovingly shared.

A very special thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Lourdes Hospital, I.C.U. for their devotion to their patients. Also to Dr. Wasco and his staff at the Lourdes Clinic for their many years of care.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday, September 13, 2010 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church and at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Hallstead, PA. Interment was made in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Should friends so desire, expressions of sympathy may take the form of a donation to Woodlawn Cemetery, c/o Beverly Tierney, 477 Randolph Road, Great Bend, PA. 18821.

DAWN HELENE DIETRICH

Dawn Helene Dietrich, 72, of Hallstead, PA, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2010 in the home of her daughter in Stafford, Virginia. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Robert Spencer Dietrich.

Also surviving are her daughters, Shawn and son-in-law Walter Bird of Marcellus, NY and Shari and son-in-law Philip Gentile, of Stafford, VA; four grandchildren, Katelyn Gentile, Manassas, VA, Geena Bird, Syracuse, NY, Kurt Gentile, Greenville, NC, and Jamie Bird, Marcellus, NY; a sister, Eloise “Squirt” Marshman, of Great Bend, PA; a brother and sister-in law, Leon and Barbara Button, Great Bend, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, Leon Curtis and Ruehema Bell Button and two sisters, Jeanette Cox and Lorraine Jennings.

Dawn retired from Johnson Camping of Conklin, NY after many years of employment. She was a member of the Red Hat Society in Florida and also the American Legion Auxiliary in Hallstead, PA. She also looked forward to vacationing in Florida and Canada every year where she enjoyed fishing, boating, playing cards, gardening and spending time with her family. Dawn loved to bowl, cross stitch and make her specialty “Red Velvet Cake.”

We wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to all of those who offered thoughts and prayers to our family.

A funeral was held on Friday, September 10, 2010 at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Hallstead, PA. Interment was made in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hallstead, PA.
