JUNE MARIE DOWNTON June Marie (Henry) Downton, formerly of Starrucca, PA passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2010, at Barnes-Kasson Hospital in Susquehanna, PA. June was born on June 23, 1930, in Thornwood, New York, the daughter of the late George Oscar and Hazel (Baker) Henry. June was predeceased by her loving husband Charles Downton; brothers, Warren Henry, Dick Henry, and Bob Henry; sisters, Bernice Roney, Beulah Kirk, Bet Comfort, Pat Jarmusik; bothers-in-law Lee Roney, Chuck Kirk, Willie Kirk, Gerald Comfort, Clifford Downton, Francis Swartz, and Raymond Mead; sisters-in-law Cindy Henry and Dorothy Henry; and son-in-law Raye Thomas. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Peg and Bill Bennett, Barb Hadden, Bonnie Downton, Bob and Dee Martin, JoAnn Thomas; sons and daughters-in-law, Jack and Kathy Downton, Pete and Vickie Downton, Donny and Jeanne Kurz; 16 grandchildren, Andy and Jenn Bennett, Ryan Bennett, Shawn and Angie Hadden, Todd Hadden, Amanda Hadden and Alan, Paul and Karen Downton, Mike and Roxanne Martin, Shannon Martin, Brian and Annette Thomas, Amy Thomas, Ashley Thomas and Tim, Chad Downton, Jordon Downton and Maryann, Michell Gaylord, Scott Gaylord and Brandy, Danny Downton; 19 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ron and Karen Henry, Ken and Louise Henry; sister Shirley Kirk; sisters-in-law, Dot Henry, Marie Swartz, and Joy Mead; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law Den and Flo Downton and Gerald Jarmusik; many nieces and nephews. June attended Preston High School, Lakewood, PA, was a member of the Thompson Rebekahs and the Thompson United Methodist Church. June loved playing cards and spending time with her family and friends. The funeral service was held on Friday, February 5, at 11 a.m. at the Starrucca Body of Christ Church with Pastor Edward Cameron officiating. Burial was in the Starrucca Cemetery, Starrucca, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Thompson United Methodist Church or the American Heart Association. MARION FRISBIE Marion Frisbie, 85, of Greene, NY, formerly of Hallstead, PA, passed away, Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at Wilson Memorial Regional Medical Center, Johnson City, NY. Born July 28, 1924 in Mill City, PA, she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Sara [Hunt] Baker. Her husband, Thomas Frisbie predeceased her in 1995. She was employed by Montrose Area School District as the Librarian’s Secretary for 20 years. Marion was a member of the Living Word Christian Center, Greene, NY. She enjoyed gardening & quilting. Marion was a caregiver to many and loved her family very much. Survivors include son, Thomas Frisbie of Hallstead, PA; daughters & sons-in-law, Carla & Fred Glensky of Kimberton, PA, Candy & David DeVigili of Greene, NY, Teri & Bob Wagner of Montrose, PA; grandchildren & their spouses, JoLyne Kinney, Sheryl & Doug Truman, Lisa & Bill McVaugh, Keith & Jennifer Glensky, Scott Glensky, Amy & Josh Kiefer, Sara & Brian Shelley, David & Jessica DeVigili, Jeremy Wagner; 12 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Nancy Baker of Endwell, NY; sisters-in-law & brothers-in-law, Paul & Rita Frisbie of Fort Myers, FL, Nina Frisbie of Kirkwood, NY; many nieces & nephews and dear friends, Stan & Bonnie Hayes. Services were held February 8 at Bartron-Myer Funeral Home, Inc., Montrose, PA. Instead of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Living Word Christian Center, Building Fund, P.O.
