MADELEINE J. WILSON

Madeleine J. Wilson, 66, of Susquehanna passed away Sunday December 20, 2009 at the Barnes Kasson Hospital SNF, Susquehanna.

She was born on June 18, 1943 to the late Lewis W. & Dorothy P. Pratt. She was predeceased by three brothers Jim, Tom and Lee Pratt and a son Eddie Rieman.

Madeleine is survived by a brother Ken Pratt, New Milford, PA; sister Betty Hibbard, Deposit, NY; two husbands Virgil Wilson, Lakeland Fl, and Jim Rieman, Binghamton, NY; her children, Sue Ellen & David, Palmyra, VA, Jack & Sara, Oakland, PA, Tony & Tammy, Binghamton, NY, Jerry & Carol Ann, Elmira, NY, James, Jr. & Valerie, Starlight, PA, Timmy & Christine, Ogden, UT and Rhonda & Brian, Pocola, OK; her 18 grandchildren, Eric, April, Samantha, Amber, Zachary, Michael, Miranda, Tony (TJ), Souk, Nicci, Bradley, Makayla, Leslie, Christina, Melissa, Nicole, Kevin & Kayla; and her 4 great grandchildren, Kendra, Gavin, Matt Dillon, & Aiden.

Mandy/Maddie retired from domestic services with Best Western Hotel of Lakeland, FL. Some of the things she most enjoyed were doing puzzles and visiting with family & friends, she never met a stranger. The next time you stroll thru the SNF hallways you can see on their walls some of the puzzles she and others worked on. She was much loved and will be sorely missed!!

The family would like to thank all of the staff at Barnes Kasson SNF, Susquehanna; all of you were much loved by “Maddie.”

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2009, at 1 p.m., at the Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave., Susquehanna, PA.

THOMAS JOSEPH KELLY

Thomas Joseph Kelly, age 73, passed away early Sunday morning, December 20, 2009 at Florida Hospital Waterman, Tavares, Florida. Born in Susquehanna, PA Mr. Kelly had been a resident of the Leesburg, Florida area for over 16 years moving here from the Finger Lakes area of New York.

He was retired from Conrail, where he worked as a Train Engineer for over 35 years. He was an avid fisherman who served his country in the U. S. Army and was a member of the Okahumpka Eagles Aerie 4273, Loyal Order of the Moose 1271, Leesburg, FL, the VFW, and the American Legion.

Survivors include: his loving wife of 5 years Theresa; sons - Bill Kelly, Elmira, NY, Joseph (Patricia) Kelly, Montour Falls, NY, and Daniel (Diana) Kelly, Elmira, NY; daughter - Teresa Sherwood, Elmira, NY; brothers - Ronald Kelly, Winsor, NY, and William Kelly, Baltimore, MD; a sister - Mary Pat Philhower, Winsor, NY; and 13 grandchildren.

A Memorial Service was held on Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at the Page Theus Funeral Home 914 W. Main Street, Leesburg, FL 34748.

REV LELAND HERBERT PEASE

Rev Leland Herbert Pease, 90, of 140 Ridgecrest Circle, Apartment #3, Lewisburg, died Sunday morning, December 20, 2009 at RiverWoods.

There will be a memorial service on January 16, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. from the First Baptist Church, 164 Main St., New Milford, PA 18834.

Funeral arrangements are by the John Shaw III Funeral Home, Market & 8th Sts., Lewisburg.
