Robert Ralston Receives New Rank

LATHAM, NY - Maj. Gen. Joseph J. Taluto, The Adjutant General for the State of New York, announced the promotion of members of the New York Army National Guard in recognition of their capability for additional responsibility and leadership.

Robert Ralston from Hallstead, PA, serving with 827th Engineer Company Horiz, has been promoted to the rank of Sergeant 1st Class.

Army National Guard promotions are based on overall performance, attitude, leadership ability, and development potential.

These promotions additionally recognize the best qualified Soldiers and attract and retain the highest caliber Citizen Soldiers for a career in the New York Army National Guard.

2nd Lt. Todd M. Fisk Graduates OTS

Air Force 2nd Lieutenant Todd M. Fisk graduated Officer Training School at Maxwell AFB, Alabama on July 22, 2009. He will be continuing training at Goodfellow AFB, TX. 2Lt Fisk has been a member of the Air Force for twelve years, in the Intelligence Career field. He has been assigned to Barksdale AFB - Louisiana, Pentagon - Washington D.C., Osan AB - South Korea, Ramstein AB - Germany, and Offutt AFB - Nebraska. 2Lt Fisk has served in Operation Allied Force and Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom. Todd is a 1997 graduate of Susquehanna Community High School. Todd and his wife, Tammy have two sons, Tyler, 9 and Anthony, 5. He is the son of Jackie Tarbox and the late Mark Tarbox of Susquehanna.

Todd would like to thank Post 86 American Legion for a joyful homecoming get together for him.
