Marketing Your Local Farm Products

Got Local Agricultural Products? Looking for help with Marketing? Penn State Cooperative Extension is here to help local producers market their farm products. If you haven’t already included your farm in Susquehanna County’s “A Guide to Farm Products,” contact the Penn State Cooperative Extension office at 278-1158. Currently, 37 Susquehanna County farm operations are listed in the attractive booklet. Information in the brochure for each farm operation includes a description of farm products sold, directions to the farm location, contact information, and a map of the county marking each location. Examples of farm operations listed in the guide include farms selling vegetables, fruits, honey, Christmas trees, eggs, and much more. Products must all be produced in Susquehanna County to be included in the guide. The guide is updated annually, so submit your farm products information to the Extension Office for the 2010 edition by December 15.
