WILLIAMSBURG, VA - Molly Copeland from Little Meadows, PA was recently named to the Dean's List at the College of William and Mary for the spring 2009 semester.
In order to achieve Dean's List status, a full-time degree seeking undergraduate student must take at least 12 credit hours and earn a 3.6 Quality Point Average during the semester.
The College of William and Mary is the second oldest institution of higher learning in the United States.
Lawrence O. Travis of Lanesboro, PA has graduated from Rochester (NY) Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology. Lawrence is the son of Debra Travis of Lanesboro, the late Larry Travis of Oakland and a 2004 graduate of Susquehanna Community High School. Larry will be employed by Lockede Martin in Syracuse, NY.
University of Scranton student Tiffany Butler of Vandling, PA , was among the new members inducted into Beta Beta Beta, the National Honor Society for Biology, at a ceremony held recently on campus. Scranton's chapter, established in 1994, is one of 372 chapters nationwide.
