EDITH M. STARK

Edith M. (Malpasse) Stark, 79, of Susquehanna, PA, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2009, at the Barnes Kasson SNF, in Susquehanna, PA.

She was the cherished wife of the late Fredrick H. Stark, Sr. for 50 years. Edith was predeceased by her one daughter Patty Stark.

She is survived by her six children Elizabeth (Stark) Kenyon of Arizona; Fredrick Jr. and Twila Stark of Susquehanna, PA; Bill and Deborah Stark of Susquehanna, PA; Steve Stark of Susquehanna, PA; Marjorie Stark of Carbondale, PA; Mike Stark of Susquehanna, PA; two brothers Bobby Malpasse of Scranton, PA; and Joe Malpasse of Kingsley, PA; three sisters Diane Allen of Susquehanna, PA; Carol Gordon of Susquehanna, PA; and Donna Tucker of Arizona; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Edith was a long time member of the Locust Hill Baptist Church of Susquehanna, PA. She loved her animals and also to play music. Most of all she was an adored and beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and Sister, who will be deeply missed by all.

The funeral service was held on Monday, June 8, 2009, at the Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA, with Pastor Kathy Myrick officiating.

The burial will be held in the Evergreen Cemetery, Susquehanna, PA.
