Ehren Schneller Makes Quinnipiac Dean’s List

Ehren Schneller, Friendsville was named to the Dean's List at Quinnipiac University, Hamden, CT for the Fall, 2008 semester. Students who excel in scholarship by earning a grade point average of at least 3.5 with no grade lower than C are recognized by being placed on the Dean's List. Full-time students must complete at least 14 credits in a semester, with at least 12 credits that have been graded on a letter grade basis (A through C) to be eligible. Part-time students must complete at least six credits during a semester.

Local Students On King’s Dean’s List

Wilkes-Barre, PA – Dr. Nicholas A. Holodick, vice president for academic affairs at King’s College, recently announced the students who have qualified for the Fall, 2008 Dean’s List, having achieved a grade point average of 3.4 or higher. The following students from our area were recognized for this achievement: Kirk Fallon, Thompson; Tamara Sager, Thompson; Melanie Biesecker, Susquehanna.

Penn State Chapter Scholarship Awards
Submitted By Carl Bugaiski, Chapter President

Sofia DeLousia, a Montrose Area High School graduate, Mark Bedrin, a Susquehanna Valley High School graduate, and Erin Morris, an Owego Free Academy graduate, have received the 2008-09 scholarships presented by the Penn State Chapter of Greater Binghamton. The Chapter, which has an endowed scholarship fund at Penn State, is proud to have presented a total of 36 scholarships awarded annually to Penn State students living in Greater Binghamton and Susquehanna County. The scholarship fund is supported by the 2000 Penn State Alumni families living in the Susquehanna County and Greater Binghamton areas.
