DWIGHT M. SMITH

1/2/28 – 12/20/08

Dwight M. Smith, Stafford, VA died December 20, 2008 in Virginia. He was predeceased by his parents, Rev. Charles and Marea Smith; sisters, Reba Smith and Betty Brown.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly; son, Dwight, Jr. (Peggy); daughters, Jackie (Tom) Ames, Jill (Grant) Fleming, Debbie (Keith) Curran; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Charles Smith; three sisters, Ruth Benjamin, Lois Merrell, Paula Maue.

He graduated from Forty Fort High School and served in the US Navy. He was an automobile enthusiast, and owned and operated auto repair businesses throughout his life. He attended the Presbyterian Church.

A private funeral service was held December 26, with burial in Stafford Cemetery.
