Kristen merited this recognition because of high academic achievement, participation in diverse extracurricular and community activities, and great potential for future service to society.

Kristen's athletic activities include soccer, basketball, softball, and volleyball during various years of her high school career. She has also served as a mentor.

Kristen was honored to participate in District Band for two years and in District Chorus and Regional Chorus for three years. In addition, she studies piano and voice.

Kristen has volunteered as a Church camp counselor and works part-time at Schwalm's Deli.

After graduation in June, Kristen plans to visit a foreign country as an exchange student before entering college after her year of studies abroad.

Kristen and her parents have been invited to attend the May 16 dinner meeting as guests of the Rotary Club at Guiseppe's Restaurant in Forest City.
