Air Force Airman Gregory R. Brownell has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

Gregory is the son of Teresa Brownell of Route 7, Harpursville, NY, and grandson of Carol Brownell of Rural Route 2, Thompson, PA.

He is a 2004 graduate of Harpursville High School.

Army National Guard Pvt. Jacy S. Martel has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, SC.

Jacy is the son of Kandi Martel of Jackson Ave., and Dennis Martel of Rural Route 3, both of Susquehanna, PA.
