Man Born In Mud To See Trailblazers

Continentals Coming To Susquehanna

The Continentals, a worldwide touring group of young people who use the very best of contemporary music and energized choreography to introduce people to and help them grow in Jesus Christ, will be presenting a (weather permitting) outdoor concert at The Shops Plaza, Susquehanna, on Saturday, August 9, beginning at 7:00 p.m.

The theme for this year’s concert will be "Extreme Power 2003," a high-energy, high-impact, evangelical program for people of all ages and backgrounds. The group of 30 Continental vocalists and technicians, one of a dozen who are touring this summer throughout the United States and many foreign countries, are sponsored locally by the Tri-Boro Ministerium. Admission is free with a love offering that will be received. Concert-goers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, although a limited amount of seating will be provided.

In case of rain, the concert will be moved to the nearby First United Methodist Church of Susquehanna. For more information, call 853–4805.

Man Born In Mud To See Trailblazers

Thompson Baptist Church is happy to announce that on Thursday, August 7, Christopher Boda, the man who was born in the mud, will be their guest speaker at 6:30 p.m.

Christopher is a missionary statesman, international speaker, musician and evangelist to India and is the man about whom the true story, Born in the Mud, is written.

Last week all the children who attended Thompson Baptist Church's Vacation Bible School, "Trailblazers, Following Our Faithful God", heard the remarkable life story of Christopher Boda. They learned that no matter how humble one's circumstances may be, God can wonderfully use that person whose life is yielded to Christ.

The children, the VBS Trailblazers, will be making a special presentation to Mr. Boda during the service and are all very excited about meeting Christopher in person.

All Trailblazers, their family, friends, members and friends of TBC are invited to attend.
