Roger L. Burman

Roger L. Burman, 60 of State Street Oakland, PA passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at his home.

Roger was predeceased by his wife, Margie (Truex) Burman; and his parents, Edward and Mildred Burman.

He was survived by his 7 brothers and 1 sister, Raymond and Miko Hankey, David and Gail Hankey, Barb and Rick Welch, Bruce and Phyllis Burman, Howard and Angie Burman, Duane and Yolly Burman, Barry and Tammie Burman, Brian Burman and Beverly Smith; also many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Roger was a Stone Cutter who worked in the Pennsylvania Blue Stone industry 1988 until his retirement. He worked for several quarries throughout the local Susquehanna area. Roger was an avid hunter and outdoorsman and was still eager to be out, even after he had to have one of his legs amputated. He loved his dogs and family, who will all miss him dearly.

A Funeral Service was held on Monday, May 21, 2018 at the Hennessey's Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave., Susquehanna, PA.

Interment will be held in the Ararat Cemetery, Ararat, PA.
