Mt. View Theater To Present Plays
The Mountain View Theater Group will perform "After Math" and "Bedtime Stories as Told by Our Dad Who Messed Them Up". Shows will be on April 20 and 21, at 7 pm in the Mountain View High School Auditorium. Tickets are $5, all seats.

Benjamin Woolcock Gets CCU Honors
Benjamin Woolcock, a finance major from Springville, PA, was among the more than 45 Coastal Carolina University students who were inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma, the international business honor society, on April 4, 2018.
Beta Gamma Sigma encourages and honors academic achievement in the study of business, and cultivates and celebrates leadership and professional excellence. In order for a business program to have a BGS chapter, it must be accredited by AACSB International, and undergraduates must be within the top 10 percent of their business program in order to be inducted into the society.

Chris Fitzsimmons Gets U of S Honors
Christopher Fitzsimmons of Forest City was among the 2018 University of Scranton students inducted into Omicron Delta Epsilon, the international honor society in economics. The University's chapter of the honor society was established in 1969.
Fitzsimmons is a senior majoring in finance at the Jesuit university.

Phyllida Whittaker In U of S Honor Society
Phyllida Whittaker, of Dimock was among The University of Scranton students inducted into Sigma Tau Delta, the national honor society in English. For induction into the honor society, students must be majors or minors in English, theatre or secondary education/English, have maintained a grade point average of 3.5 or higher in English, theatre and writing courses and have an overall grade point average of 3.4 or higher. The University's chapter of the honor society was established in 1980.
Whittaker is a junior majoring in English at the Jesuit university.

Ramona Miller Gets U of S Induction Into the Women's Business Honor Society
Ramona Miller, of Friendsville was among the 77 University of Scranton students inducted into Omega Beta Sigma, the women's business honor society. Induction is open to students who major or minor in business, have at least sophomore academic standing, and have a grade point average of 3.25 or higher. The University's honor society was established in 1982.
