Beta Rho Donates To Local Schools

Educators from the Beta Rho Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma International recently donated a basket of school supplies to Wyalusing Valley Elementary School librarian Christine Whitmiller.  The chapter is one of sixty-three chapters in Pennsylvania whose members are key women educators in Bradford, Susquehanna, and Wyoming Counties.

The Society defines its mission as promoting professional and personal growth of women educators and excellence in education.  DKG sponsors a program called “Supporting Early Educators”, or SEE, by presenting teachers in their first year of teaching with  a surprise gift of school supplies to encourage them.
