My name is Kaelynn Brant and I am a Susquehanna County Dairy Maid. I am in Mrs. Keihl's 5th grade class at Blue Ridge School. In class we get to earn marbles by being kind, completing our homework on time, getting a perfect score on a quiz and other acts Mrs. Keihl sees that deserves a marble. Once we fill a mason jar, then we get to choose our reward. This time the majority voted to have a sweet treat and what better treat than ice cream!

Mrs. Keihl helped my sister, Kendra Brant who is a Dairy Ambassador and me organize and set up an ice cream sundae bar as our reward. As we dished out the delicious treat we spoke to the kids about eating healthy by having dairy products in their diet.
I love trying to incorporate dairy promotions whenever I can to spread the message of getting 3 healthy servings of milk, yogurt and cheese each and every day.
