Aletha Monahan (White) 76, of Hallstead went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 1, 2017 after a long battle with bone cancer. She was predeceased by her parents, Lloyd and Doris White.

She is survived by her three daughters, Tina and Al Anderson, Lisa Winfield and Jackie Kerr; grandchildren, Tressa Monahan, Dustin Anderson, Marissa Kotar and her fiancée, Zach Mansfield, Morgan Garcia, Amanda and Kevin Roth, Megan Garcia and Bobby Smith; several great-grandchildren.

She was a member of the Susquehanna United Methodist Church and enjoyed working in the kitchen, especially cooking for their annual roast beef dinner. Aletha loved spending time with her family, enjoying a good Italian meal.

 In her honor take some time out of your busy schedules, sit down and spend some time with your loved ones.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 9th at the Susquehanna United Methodist Church, with Pastor Vincent Chiaramonte officiating.
