Fred R. Huyck, Sr.
Fred R. Huyck, Sr., 77, of Susquehanna, Pa. passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Barnes Kasson Hospital in Susquehanna after an illness.
Fred was predeceased by his parents, Paul and Lois Huyck; wives, Mary and Barb Huyck; brother, Walter and Alice Huyck; sisters, Pauline & John Bowen; Rosie and Frank Turner; Doris and Don Williams.
He is survived by four sons; Fred and Gere Huyck, Jr., Rex Kelsey and Lori Wasko, Wayne and Stacy Huyck, Emmett Sheptock; daughter, Roxanne and Joe D’Esti; brother, Cliff and Eunice Huyck; grandchildren, Frank, Joe, Gabriella and Rejean, Joshua, Nathan, Taylor, Lauren, Emmett, Jr., Bradley, Fred III; great-grandson Tucker; many nieces and nephews.
Fred was employed by St. John’s Church of Susquehanna as its sexton for over 39 years before his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, bingo and was a member of the Canawacta Rod & Gun Club. He always loved to make people laugh. Fred will be deeply missed by his family and many friends.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 13, at Hennessey’s Funeral Home, with Pastor Gary Day officiating.
Burial will be in the South Windsor Cemetery.

Robert Philip Westbrook, 95, of Hamilton, entered into God's loving care Monday, May 8, 2017 at St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton.
Born in Susquehanna, PA., Robert lived in Binghamton, New York before moving to Hamilton in 1958.
Robert proudly served in the United States Army with the 80th Infantry Division, Signal Corp during World War II. He served in France and Germany and was awarded the Individual Bronze Star for his bravery.
He was formerly employed with IBM Corporation for many years prior, to his retirement in 1984.
He was predeceased by his parents, Charles Fremont and Mary Alice (Saam) Westbrook; his wives, Geraldine Anna (Latonick) Westbrook who passed in 1969 and Julia Marie (Bendel) Westbrook who passed in 2015, two brothers, Harold and Edward Westbrook; his cherished granddaughter, Kimberly Bernath. He is survived by his daughter, Linda DeSandre; two stepchildren, James Howarth and wife, Cathy and Susan Benson and husband, Henry; seven grandchildren. Amy McCormick and husband, Scott, Kimberly Schubert and fiancée, Scott DeFlavis, Kathleen Zoltanski and husband, Brian, Robert DeSandre and wife, Courtney, Jason Howarth and wife, Jackie, Justin Howarth and fiancée, Ashley Rose, Jessica Sanchez and husband, John; twenty great-grandchildren, Matthew, Branden, Colin, Lucas, Travis, Colton, Dylan, Brianna, Kaylee, Mark, Melanie and Evangeline, Johnny, James, Rylee, Noah, Ethan, Luke, Alex and Sarah; also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services were held Friday, May 12, 2017 at Hamilton Brenna Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse Mercerville Road, Hamilton, NJ.
Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery, 1200 Cedar Lane, Hamilton, NJ.
